Meet Lindsey Markwood: Your Marietta Travel Advisor

Hi Travelers. My name is Lindsey Markwood and I am the founder of Markwood Magic, a travel agency. I was born and raised in Marietta, Georgia just outside of Atlanta. I have been a travel advisor since 2019 and I absolutely love it. This is my full time job and I love helping others create wonderful memories through travel.
My Passion for River and Ocean Cruises:
I am obsessed with cruising. Each day on an ocean cruise my family can choose to be as busy or as relaxed as we want. Its truly perfect for us. Out of all our cruises, Alaska was our favorite. Out of all the ocean cruise ships, Star of the Seas with Royal Caribbean is my favorite.
With river cruising I love unpacking once and exploring a different city each day. It is truly the easiest way to see multiple countries. You typically dock right in the heart of the cities. My favorite city in Europe is Budapest which is also a popular starting point for Danube River cruises. I am looking forward to connecting soon!

I just can’t speak highly enough about Lindsey honestly at this point, she just feels like a member of our family.
We originally booked at Club Med Punta Cana with her and got a last minute email saying it was cancelled because of the hurricane. Lindsey was on top of it. She booked us in Miches in the most wonderful room for our family.
The baby and kids club was sensational for my little ones and we couldn’t believe we finally had found a family vacation where we actually had a vacation. Time with my husband during the day and family time in the morning and afternoons.
No matter what little things we needed assistance with, Lindsey was on it. She took all the stress out of our trips. She goes beyond what I expected and for that, she’s our go to.
As soon as we got back, we booked again through her for yet another perfect vacation.
I feel like she’s an exhausted families answer to taking vacations. I can’t recommend her enough and yes, we are in the process of booking with her yet again. She’s the BEST!!!

Lindsey at Markwood Magic made everything so easy! She organized my family of 5 as part of a larger group. We were all close on the ship. The excursions, dinner and other private events were so much fun and allowed us to get so much more out of our trip. Lindsey handled the details and checked on us every step of the way. I am deeply grateful for Lindsey Markwood time she took to assure that my first time traveling abroad solo would be a wonderful experience. After our first conversation over year ago, I immediately felt comfortable beginning the planning process. Making sure my air flight would make all connections, booking my hotel, arranging private driver to pick me up from airport to hotel and staying in communication with me, making sure I was OK even while I was on board the cruise ship. "Who does that", only Lindsey because she's a professional. When there was a slight hiccups when my first leg on the airplane 88mins late which cause me to miss my second leg, knowing Lindsey was available to support me made all the difference of an amazing travel experience.
