Excursions at Perfect Day at Coco Cay

Thrill Waterpark

Thrill Waterpark is one of the most popular excursions at Perfect Day at CocoCay and is home to over a dozen waterslides. Daredevil’s tower is home to the tallest waterslide in North America, coming in at 135 feet! If you want something not as high, then there are several water rides at Splash Summit. According to Royal Caribbean Thrill Water Park is also home to the largest wave pool in the Caribbean as well. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention there is an obstacle course as well at Adventure Pool. Both kids and adults can enjoy this area. It has rope swings, rock climbing, and lilly pads. Younger guests will need to have a life jacket. Just in case you get hungry there is a special snack shack that only Thrill Waterpark guests can enjoy. As with other areas of the island, the are plenty of loungers to sit, cabanas to rent, a bar, and life jackets for those who need it. Pro tip: send me a message to see if it makes sense for your travel party to get a cabana here or purchase the admission to Thrill Waterpark separately.

Up, Up, and Away

If you decide to book an excursion for Up, Up, and Away – make it for early in the morning. If it is too windy the balloon can not go up. You float 450 feet up in the air, and have a beautiful view of the Bahamas.

Zip Line

Perfect Day at CocoCay is home to a 1,600-foot long zip line course, where you’ll crisscross the island.

Hideaway Beach

Hideaway Beach is an adults only area of the island that opened January 2024! This area has a fun atmosphere with a dedicated beach area, a pool, and a DJ keeping cruise guest entertained by Hideaway Barâ„ . Guests can have pizza at Slice of Paradiseâ„  and elevated bites from Hideaway Hut

Coco Beach Club

Coco Beach Club is an elevated experience. You can purchase general admission or get one of the coveted over the water bungalows (inspired by Bora Bora). Guest enjoy having access to a private beach, a infinity pool, Coco Beach Club, and Coco Beach Club Restaurant. Bonus: The infinity pool has in pool loungers for you to relax. The food here is also elevated with a Mediterranean flare. You can get lobster, grouper, and more included in your admission cost. Pro tip: Do not get purchase both Thrill Waterpark and Coco Beach Club in the same cruise. Purchase one or the other so you can fully take advantage of what each experience has to offer.

Swimming with the Pigs

Depending on the sailing Royal Caribbean might offer swimming with the Pigs. Just a note: this excursion can usually be done at Nassau. If you do it in Nassau, there are a few 3rd party vendors I work with.

Snorkeling

You can bring your own snorkel equipment, or you can rent it from Royal Caribbean.

Other water excursions:

Additional excursions include: kayaking,  wave jet, glass bottom boat, and scuba diving
