Rotational Dining with Disney Cruise Line

One of my favorite things about sailing with Disney Cruise Line is something you do not really find on other cruise lines, and that is rotational dining. The first time I heard the term, I was not sure what to expect, but once I experienced it, I realized it is part of what makes a Disney cruise feel so special.

So, here is how it works. Instead of being assigned to the same main dining room every night, you rotate through three different restaurants on the ship. Each restaurant one has its own theme, its own menu, and often its own form of entertainment. The best part is that not only are you and your travel party changing which restaurant you are eating at, but your waiter, assistant waiter, and head waiter will follow you too. This way you have the same cast members making sure your dining is magical. And yes, usually by the second dinner these cast members know some of your preferences like what type of drink you prefer or that ketchup on the side should look like a Hidden Mickey.
The ships have different restaurants for their rotational dining. Here is the updated list as of this article:
Disney Treasure
1923 which has a California cuisine
Plaza de Coco which has a Mexican Cuisine
Worlds of Marvel which has innovative dishes from around the globe
